Action rated one of Essex County's top non-profits

Charity Navigator, the nation's largest charity evaluator, gave Action its top four star rating for the second consecutive year. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that Action exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its cause. "Action's four star rating ensures our donors that their gifts achieve maximum impact", says Chanda Millett Shin, the Action Planning Director. Charity Navigator's method of data-driven analysis shows that Action excels in organizational efficiency as well as capacity to serve. Action spends only 4% of its budget on administrative and fundraising expenses, compared to 10% for similar organizations.
