at ACTION, INC. ‘s 41^st ANNUAL MEETING

 Action, Inc. of Cape Ann will host its 41^st Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at the Rockport Country Club, 60 South Street, Rockport, MA.

Essex District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett will be the evening’s featured speaker.

The media are cordially invited to attend this event.

A reception with opening remarks begins at 5:30 PM, followed by a brief business meeting.  Dinner and presentations begin at 6:30 PM. 

Action, Inc. has been in the vanguard of innovative social service programs since its inception in 1965.  For over forty years, Action, Inc. has been dedicated to improving the lives of residents of Essex, Gloucester, Ipswich, Manchester, and Rockport. 

Action, Inc. offers programs for employment and training, youth and family development, senior services, advocacy and housing, and energy assistance.

Action, Inc.’s 24 member board consists of eight members from the private sector, eight from the public sector and eight members from the community served by its programs.
