Gloucester, MA - Action, Inc. Employment & Training Announces Scholarship Awards

Action, Inc is proud to announce the winners of the fourth annual scholarship program sponsored by Action, Inc’s Employment and Training Program. This year there were 10 scholarship recipients who shared at total of $9,500.00. The recipients are residents of the five cities and towns served by Action, Inc. Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester, Essex and Ipswich. The scholarships were made possible by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development.

Based on academic achievement, acceptance at a Massachusetts institution of higher learning, community service, and demonstrated financial need, the following awards were made:

Maximilian Aprans, Sarah Montenero, and Ashley Lewis of Gloucester High School

Ty Haskell of Manchester/Essex High School

Adult Learners Billie Jo Brosnan, Heidi Hiland, Danielle Walters, and MaryJo Wilkins of Gloucester;

Karl Osborn of Essex, and Brittni Reilly of Ipswich
